Zooming on the largest, the structure has some length and surprising airiness to it, with calyxes visibly bunched together, but less dense than the eye might predict. Eye-5’s surface boasts a darker complexion courtesy of a violet/eggplant dominant base, however hold the buds up to the light and you will notice a pike green seams and sugar leaves, sandstone orange pistils, and an off white cloaking of biscotti colored trichomes. Eye-5’s nose is one to truly remember and brings out the best of the strains Gelato 41 and ICC lineages. First whiffs are best defined by a rich and soapy, hazelnut aroma, paired with a blast of musky dark fruit and smooth chocolate. A semi-sweet, funky blue cheese aroma permeates on the back end and when you crack these nugs open. Similarly, the inhale is smooth, creamy and nutty, like a nutella covered/milk chocolate drizzled pastry. The exhale is woody and gassy, with an earthy, spiced dried fruit finish. Eye-5 unleashes a long-lasting, stoney, and introspective head high that’ll have you zoning in and our for hours. Eye-5’s body effects are subtle, soothing and warming, leaving limbs loose and relaxed. “Calming” as a descriptor doesn’t quite do Eye-5 justice as every aspect of the mind and body feels at ease.
