Strain Review: Pre-’98 Bubba Kush by Highland Provisions
Finally getting around to the Pre-’98 Bubba Kush from @highlandprovisions. I’ve been seeing it on the shelves at @oregrownindustries basically since I’ve been shopping there, but obviously there’s always something else to draw my attention.

These dudes make basically every cannabis product from flower, BHO, and rosin to edibles and vape carts. A lot of producers at that volume tend to sacrifice quality, but they stay consistently fire, and their flower is still pretty affordable.
The weed was mad kushy. It had those sort of grapey, sweet notes with this sour dankness I can’t put my finger on. Much as I’m getting tired of grape and berry notes, this was still a welcome addition to the lineup.
It had a pleasant stoniness to it, but don’t expect it to be the thing to pull you out of a panic attack. I’ve been having a lot of anxiety trouble lately, and this isn’t what I pull out when things are getting rough.
It’s a great way to end your day when you’re not in a psychiatric crisis, though, so I really recommend it. Little sleepy, definitely stoney. You’ve tried Bubba.
Overall, this is a really solid pick for the indica lovers. Really glad @oregrownindustries is carrying so many products from this farm. Give them a try if you can find them, because they’re also getting way more popular. The curse of the hidden gem is that they don’t stay hidden long.
