Strain Review: Runtz by The Heights Co.

Ok, fine, I’ll review Runtz. Nah, for real, @heights.co impressed me with that Kush Mints I reviewed a few days back. A number of folks have said I should review some Runtz (S/O @mrboofman1), so it seemed like a match made in heaven. Honestly, I was really underwhelmed at first. With how popular this strain is, I was expecting a harder hitting high. The shit is mad light. It’s got a deceptive headiness to it, but there’s no stoniness whatsoever. I’ve been using it to start my day pretty often with great results. It’s a nice, clear headed, smooth smoke that won’t burn the back of your throat first thing in the morning. Smell was heavy on the fruit candy notes, but I wouldn’t call it a strong smell. Like, it’s good weed, but “loud” would be inaccurate. It’s a pleasant smell. If something can smell purple, that’s kinda what’s going on here. A nice, sweet purple. I’m pretty sure that @thc.pdx recently got a batch of Runtz from @resin_ranchers.pdx. I’m gonna be trying to refresh my review stock/medicine cabinet soon, so I’ll grab some of that to compare. I remember theirs being harder hitting, and I’m just now realizing it’s been months since I got anything from them. The Heights did a great job with this just like they do with everything they grow. You can find it all over town, but obviously I recommend @thc.pdx for all your quality cannabis needs. They get pretty much all the really great drops these days.
