Although I am not generally a huge enthusiast of MAC and its closely related Starfighter strain, I was interested to try this exclusive new release from Jungleboys, crossed with a never personally tested before; Big Chilliz. Boasting a high 40.92% total sum of cannabinoids.
Upon opening I instantly received a refreshing infusion of mints, cream and cake, with noticeable Starfighter traits of spice and orange, alongside a menthol infused Gelato hazelnut and chemical earthiness. The buds were of a medium to hard density, having a foxtail structure.
They were a shade of medium green with sporadic hues of light purple, alongside rustic pistils, and absolutely doused in trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell, delivering an extremely refreshing menthol infused gassy Cookie earthiness with added traits of spice, cream and orange, accompanied by lightly sweetened cherry accents.
This refreshing tangy earthiness was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium to light grey, alongside a sweating band of oil. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean.
To conclude, although the distant but powerful Starfighter lineage is not overly to my personal taste preference, I found The One to exhibit its lineage effectively. It smoked well, and with some further dialling in required will be a great choice for enthusiasts of MAC and other closely related strains alike.
