Biscoff Strain Review
Today we are smoking some Biscoff, a strain I had previously never tried. I couldn’t find much on this strain other than some basics – its a relative of the famed Biscotti strain (Biscotti x Unknown Strain), and like it’s name leans close to its known parent. Seemingly contrary to its dusky complexion, Biscoff exhibits a brilliant ‘patchwork quilt’ of colors including a dominant mix of basil and olive greens, recessive sangria purples and scant seams tiger orange pistils. Off-white, creamy trichomes give the buds an almost powdery, honey-like glaze.
Upon opening the jar, aromas of of a sweet smelling pine and nutty spice fill the room. The smoke’s flavor however, remains a bit more complex. I found Biscoff to have a buttery, caramel kush flavor with notes of a lemon pine present as well. Biscoff shifts towards an overwhelmingly diesel like finish, but in combination with some spice, rings familiar with almost a coffee like spice finish.
Expect an indica dominant high when indulging in Biscoff. The effects begin with a fast acting, full headed numbness and tingle which set the stage for blissful tranquility. A floaty and unfocused high. Body effects roll over like a wave, loosening limbs and removing tension subtly, but thoroughly therapeutically. Biscoff can knock you out if used towards the end of the day, but its a rich experience when used earlier in the day.
