Aroma:Lemongrass Soap, Sour Lemon Candy, Pledge.
Taste: Unsweetened Bakery Dough, Citrus notes leaning towards Grapefruit, Grassy Kush.
Structure: Super tight, Dense. Crumbles when pulling apart the bud.
Medicinal Effect: Sedating. Strong Body high that takes a little time to creep in. Great for insomnia, pain relief.
Overall: I went into this review only knowing what the Cookies budtender knew, which wasn’t much, but he did tell me that it was a Wedding Cake phenotype. Um okay. Thanks for the info. I bought it anyway. But the first thing that zinged into my head when I opened the bag was that familiar Lemon Floor Cleaner smell that I had gotten from the London Pound Cake 75, but with a restrained, sweeter quality. I only found out afterwards that this was just a cross between LPC 75, which shows up in the aroma and some of the flavor on the middle part of the palate. The smoke is heavy and expands a fair amount in the lungs. Watch out for a coughing fit. The star of this show and the dominant blend in the strain is oozing with Wedding Cake and I swear I could taste the GSC coming through pretty strong on this batch. This one caused me to take a double-take, a bit more complex than the glitzy, glamorous packaging suggests. It hits pretty hard. Lastly, this one leaves you pretty stinky. I wonder why some strains more than other leave you with a skunky diaper smell while others just have a light smokey quality. Let me know in the comments if you got a theory!
